After our honeymoon, I did find myself a personal trainer and had about 20 sessions with an ex-football coach. Although I hated every time I went and was dizzy after and had to stay in a coma-dosed state 30 minutes after my workout, I felt great afterwords. Until my last intense personal training session of fast intervals of running on a treadmill and throwing up all over the gym, I then quit my exercise routine. With the exercise going, so did my diet and so did my gut.
So here I am, almost back to my original weight back in San Diego. What is interesting about this picture, is not just the 200 lbs and my long toenails, but the dust on the scale. This is a great metaphor of how long it has been since I have been working on my health. Today I am going to clean my scale and seek a second title of being the champ. This time around, I would like to include my brother, Scott, who has already agreed to be part of this Turkey Edition Challenge. See you all at the final weigh in on Thanksgiving.
