A wise man once said, "proper planning prevents piss poor performance." One of the great benefits of dieting is that it forces you to plan ahead. Not only is this a boon for the ole' pocketbook, but it is also extremely self satisfying. While the prospect of eating 16 bean soup for lunch everyday this week isn't all that exciting, it's refreshing to not have to think about what to pack for lunch every morning. [Trien, did you grasp the enormity of what I just wrote...16 bean soup! I didn't even know that there were 16 types of beans, let alone think that they could be purchased in a single package over the counter!]
