1.) The lack of blog activity from the group has been disheartening. I can only hope we quickly return to 2012 form.
2.) Hot chili (pronounced "chai-lie in Rochester) + cold fresh vegetables is a winning combo. Wendy's should strongly considering adding a chili salad to the menu. Below are the remnants of last night's dinner. Trust me, it was good.
3.) Getting back to dieting and exercising instantly feels great, at least mentally. The physical toll is another story though. On my lunch break I took a ~9 mile bike ride around my neighborhood. It felt good at the time, but my thighs were on fire this morning. Resuming my bean based diet wasn't too much of a problem, but I did experience to some late afternoon stomach cramping.
